Gatlinburg SkyLift

The Best Seat in Gatlinburg

The First SkyLift

Gatlinburg SkyLift transports guests from the heart of downtown Gatlinburg up 1,800 feet above sea-level to the top of Crockett Mountain where the record-breaking Gatlinburg SkyBridge is located.

As you arrive at the top, you'll find the SkyDeck's amphitheater seating where you can relax and take in sweeping vistas found nowhere else. Look out over Gatlinburg and across to the highest peaks of Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

After exploring the SkyTrail, conquering the spectacular SkyBridge, and enjoying refreshments in the SkyCenter, you'll ride the lift back down the mountain, enjoying ever-changing views throughout the journey.

The Gatlinburg SkyLift is the longest-running attraction in Gatlinburg and a must-do experience for thousands of visitors each year, many of whom make a SkyLift ride an annual event. Today's SkyLift is a smooth, comfortable, three-seat chairlift that was built in 2017.

The Gatlinburg SkyLift was the first four-season scenic chairlift in the South when it opened in 1954.
