The Best Seat In Gatlinburg

The Gatlinburg SkyLift carries guests from the heart of town up five hundred vertical feet to the top of Crockett Mountain for the absolutely best views in Gatlinburg. With construction still taking place on the SkyDeck and SkyBridge guests are currently not able to get off at the top, but can still take in the spectacular views and enjoy this unique experience as they ride up and back down.

Beginning this spring, guests will be able to step off the lift and onto the SkyDeck to take in sweeping vistas you won't find anywhere else, looking out over Gatlinburg and out across the high peaks of Great Smoky Mountain National Park. After exploring the SkyDeck and spectacular new SkyBridge, you'll ride the lift back down the mountain, enjoying ever-changing views throughout the journey.

Originally opened in 1954, the SkyLift is a Gatlinburg institution that has become a must-do experience for thousands of visitors each year who make it an annual event. Today's SkyLift is a smooth, comfortable, three-seat chairlift built in 2018.
